A one-metre aluminium rule that combines the functions of a measuring tool and a spirit level. The design, with two spirit levels and an ergonomic handle, ensures precision in marking-out, graphic and finishing work.
Features of the aluminium rule with spirit levels
Dual measuring and levelling function
The two built-in spirit levels allow the level of a surface to be checked in two planes while measurements are being taken. This solution removes the need for a separate spirit level when marking out reference lines.
Double-sided millimetre and inch graduations
Graduations in both the metric (millimetres) and imperial (inches) systems allow work to be carried out to different technical standards. Useful for projects with documentation in imperial units or when working with imported materials.
Aluminium construction 3.8 mm thick
The aluminium profile, 60 mm wide and 3.8 mm thick, provides rigidity when marking out long straight lines. Aluminium does not rust and retains dimensional stability in the changing humidity conditions typical of construction sites.
PVC handle

How to check the accuracy of the spirit levels
Place the rule on a flat surface and note the position of the bubble. Turn the tool through 180 degrees in the same plane. If the bubble shows the same position, the spirit level is correctly set. Any deviation means the tool needs to be calibrated or replaced.
Use and maintenance
Before first use, verify the accuracy of the spirit levels using the rotation method described above. While working, avoid striking the edge of the rule against hard surfaces — deformation of the aluminium profile affects measuring accuracy. After use, clean dust and moisture off the tool, particularly around the spirit levels.
Store horizontally or hung by the handle, avoiding prolonged loading of the middle section. Do not use as a lever or as a support for heavy objects. Regularly checking the condition of the spirit levels and the legibility of the measuring scale extends the service life of the tool.
