A professional set of four pry bars made from 40Cr chrome steel. These tools are designed for dismantling work, prying structural components and assembly on building sites and in workshops.
40Cr steel contains 0.40% carbon and added chromium, combining hardness with resistance to bending. The material withstands the dynamic loads generated when prying and lifting heavy components without permanent deformation.
The polypropylene (PP) covering the handles is resistant to impact and abrasion. It does not slip in the hand even under heavy effort, which improves safety and precision when manoeuvring the tool.
The curved end of the pry bar makes use of the lever principle in confined spaces. This design allows work in gaps and narrow openings where standard tools cannot deliver sufficient leverage.
The different lengths and tip widths let you match the tool to the scale of the job. Shorter pry bars are well suited to precision tasks, while longer ones generate greater leverage on heavy structural components.

The 195 mm pry bar is used for precision work in tight spaces. The 305 mm size is a general-purpose tool for most assembly tasks. The 445 mm and 600 mm pry bars generate high leverage, which is essential for heavy structural components and jobs requiring considerable effort.
Before starting work, check the condition of the handles - cracks or damage to the plastic can lead to loss of control over the tool. When prying heavy components, position the fulcrum as close to the load as possible to minimise the risk of bending the shaft.
After work, clean the pry bars of building dust and moisture. Despite its chromium content, 40Cr steel needs protection against corrosion - periodically applying a thin coat of protective oil extends the life of the tools. Storing them in a dry place prevents oxidation of the steel surfaces.
Do not use the pry bars as impact chisels or hammers - striking the head of the tool can crack the material or damage the handle. If the tip becomes worn, it can be sharpened with a grinder, keeping the original sharpening angle.
