Work footwear with a polyvinyl chloride upper and felt lining, designed for work in high-humidity conditions and low temperatures. The construction provides water resistance and thermal insulation while maintaining stability on slippery surfaces.
Polyvinyl chloride is fully waterproof and resistant to moisture. The material does not absorb water, which prevents it from soaking through during work in mud, puddles or contact with wet vegetation. The PVC surface is easy to clean and maintain.
The felt layer inside the boot provides thermal insulation, retaining heat in low temperatures. Felt absorbs the moisture generated inside the footwear, which improves comfort during prolonged use. This material performs well at temperatures of around 0°C to 10°C.
The sole tread has been designed to increase grip on wet, muddy and slippery surfaces. The deep tread pattern channels water and mud out from under the foot, reducing the risk of slipping when working on variable ground.
The upper reaching to mid-calf protects the foot and lower leg from dirt, water and moisture. This height performs well when working in tall grass, on boggy ground or when wading in shallow water.

An insole length of 27.3 cm corresponds to size 42. Before buying, measure the foot from the heel to the longest toe. It is worth adding 0.5-1 cm of allowance to the result, particularly if you plan to wear thicker socks. For a foot measuring 26.5-27 cm, size 42 will provide the right level of comfort.
After each use, the Wellington boots should be cleaned of mud and dirt using water and a brush. The PVC material can be washed with a cleaning agent, avoiding detergents containing organic solvents, which can weaken the structure of the plastic.
The footwear should be dried at room temperature, away from direct heat sources (radiators, stoves, sunlight). Overheating the PVC may lead to deformation of the material and loss of flexibility. The felt lining should be removed and dried separately from time to time.
Store in a dry, well-ventilated place, standing upright or with inserts that hold the shape of the upper. Avoid contact with sharp objects that could pierce or cut the PVC surface.
Wellington boots are not protective footwear within the meaning of occupational safety standards. They have neither a reinforced toecap nor a puncture-resistant midsole. They must not be used where footwear with S1, S2 or S3 certification is required. The PVC material may become rigid at temperatures below -10°C.
