Choosing the right work glove size
Size 10 corresponds to a hand circumference, measured at the widest point (excluding the thumb), of approximately 25-26 cm. The glove should fit the hand without restricting finger movement. Gloves that are too loose reduce control over tools, while those that are too tight restrict blood circulation.
Use and maintenance
Before first use, check the condition of the gloves – there should be no cracks in the leather, damage to the stitching or deformation. Protection category I means that the gloves are not intended for work with sharp cutting tools, at high temperatures or in contact with chemicals.
Natural leather requires periodic cleaning of dust and dirt with a soft brush. Do not wash the gloves in a washing machine or dry them on radiators – high temperatures cause the leather to harden and crack. Damp gloves should be dried at room temperature, away from heat sources.
Storing them in a dry, well-ventilated place protects the leather against mould and loss of flexibility. Gloves should be replaced when the leather on the palm shows visible abrasion or cracks, or when the stitching has been damaged.
Restrictions on use
Category I gloves do not protect against medium- and high-risk mechanical hazards. Do not use for welding, with cutting tools with sharp edges, in contact with corrosive substances or at temperatures exceeding 50°C.
