An adjustable safety helmet designed for construction, assembly and industrial work. The high-density polyethylene (HDPE) shell provides protection against mechanical impact in accordance with the EN 397 standard.
High-density polyethylene offers increased resistance to impact and penetration. This material retains its protective properties across a wide temperature range and does not crack easily under mechanical stress.
The ratchet mechanism provides smooth adjustment of the helmet's circumference to suit head sizes from 55 to 66 cm. Adjustment is made using the wheel at the back of the helmet, allowing the size to be changed quickly without removing any equipment.
The internal plastic harness distributes impact force over a larger area of the head. Six attachment points keep the helmet securely in place and prevent it from shifting during work in a bent position.
The EN 397 standard sets out the requirements for safety helmets used in industry. This helmet has been tested for impact and penetration resistance and flame resistance, confirming its suitability for higher-risk environments.

| Safety standard | EN 397:2012 + A1:2012 |
The EN 397 standard defines the minimum requirements for industrial safety helmets, including resistance to a 50 J impact, shock absorption capacity and penetration resistance. The A1 designation indicates an amendment to the standard covering additional low-temperature requirements.
Before first use, check that all components are present and adjust the helmet to the circumference of your head. The harness should be adjusted so that the helmet does not shift when you tilt your head, while at the same time not pressing on the skin.
The helmet should be worn with the peak facing forward. The chin strap prevents the helmet from slipping during sudden movements or when working in a bent position. The sweatband prevents sweating on the forehead and increases comfort during prolonged use.
The helmet shell can be washed with water and a mild detergent. Do not use organic solvents, as these can weaken the polyethylene structure. The helmet should be stored at room temperature, away from direct sunlight and sources of heat.
The helmet must be replaced after any strong impact, even if no external damage is visible. The internal HDPE structure may be weakened without any visible signs. Manufacturers recommend replacing the helmet every 3-5 years, depending on the intensity of use and working conditions.
In the construction and industrial sectors, a helmet colour-coding system is used to allow quick identification of a worker's role on a construction site. A blue helmet is often assigned to machine operators, electricians, electrical installers and technical staff.
This system is not standardised by any standards, but stems from the practice used by construction companies. Other common colour codes are: white for site managers, yellow for general construction workers, green for environmental officers and red for foremen.
