Nail-in hooks are a basic solution for quickly fixing lightweight decorative items to interior walls. The set contains 8 white 25mm hooks with an integrated nail.
The 25mm plastic washer spreads the load evenly across the wall surface, minimising the risk of damaging the plaster. It prevents cracks forming around the fixing point, which matters on plaster or plaster skim walls.
The fixing system needs only a hammer to drive the nail through the hook into the wall. It removes the need to drill holes, which speeds up installation and reduces dust and waste during fitting.
The neutral white colour keeps them discreet on light-coloured walls and surfaces painted in shades of white, beige or grey. The hook blends into the background without drawing attention away from the items on display.
The pack contains 8 hooks, enough to fix several items or to complete a job needing more fixing points, such as hanging a gallery of pictures or several frames.

Nail-in hooks are intended for lightweight items only. They must not be used to fix heavy objects such as bookshelves, large mirrors or cabinets. These require wall plugs with screws or chemical anchors.
Before starting, check the type of wall. Nail-in hooks work well on cement-lime and gypsum plaster and on plasterboard. On brittle or crumbly surfaces the fixing may not hold securely.
Fitting involves holding the hook against the chosen spot on the wall and driving the nail through the central hole in the hook. Tap with the hammer using even, controlled strokes so as not to damage the hook or the wall surface. The hook should sit flat against the wall.
Once fitted, the item can be hung on the protruding nail. It is worth checking the fixing is secure before hanging the actual item by gently pulling on the nail. If the hook moves or the nail is loose, choose a different fixing point.
Removing the hook requires pulling the nail out with a claw hammer or pliers. A small hole is left behind, which can be filled and painted to restore the wall to its original condition.
