Vorel 75000R Insulation Tape 19 x 0.13mm x 10m
PVC insulation tape designed for the electrical insulation of wires and cables and for protecting electrical connections. A Vorel product in standard dimensions for industrial and domestic use.
Insulation tape features
Dimensions
A width of 19 mm is the standard for electrical installations, allowing wires of 1.5 to 4 mm² to be wrapped comfortably. The 10-metre length is enough to insulate approximately 15-20 standard wire connections.
Insulation layer thickness
A thickness of 0.13 mm provides adequate dielectric strength while maintaining flexibility. The thinner tape allows multiple layers to be wrapped without excessively increasing the diameter of the insulated wire.
PVC material
Polyvinyl chloride is resistant to moisture, oils and most organic solvents. The material retains its insulating properties across a temperature range of -10°C to +80°C.
Adhesive properties
The acrylic adhesive layer bonds to metal, plastic and rubber surfaces without leaving excessive adhesive residue after removal under normal conditions of use.

Use and storage
Application conditions
Apply the tape to clean, dry surfaces at room temperature. It is advisable to degrease the surface of the wire before use. Wrap the tape with a 50% overlap, applying a minimum of 2-3 layers to ensure the insulation is sealed.
Storage
Store the tape in its original packaging at a temperature of +5°C to +25°C, away from heat sources and direct sunlight. Relative humidity should not exceed 65%. Under these conditions, the tape retains its properties for approximately 24 months.
Application limitations
The tape is not intended for the primary insulation of wires at voltages above 600 V. Do not use in locations exposed to constant contact with water or at temperatures exceeding +80°C. It is not suitable for insulating heating cables or in installations exposed to ozone.
