Vorel 82731 24+3 LED Handheld Work Light
A portable workshop light with SMD LED technology, featuring a dual lighting system and magnetic mounting. Powered by AAA batteries, the unit lets you work without access to mains power.
Technical features
Dual LED lighting system
The 24 SMD LEDs provide a wide beam of diffused light for illuminating larger work areas. An additional 3 LEDs produce a focused torch-style beam, useful for precision work where the light needs to be directed at a specific point.
Magnetic and hook mounting
A built-in magnet lets you attach the light to metal surfaces, so you can work hands-free. The folding swivel hook allows flexible hanging from a range of structures – edges, rails or handles.
3xAAA battery power
The light runs on three standard AAA (R03) batteries, which are not included. The batteries can be replaced without tools – simply open the battery compartment and insert the new cells.
Compact workshop design
At 96 x 63 x 32 mm and with a low weight, the light is portable and easy to store. The yellow and black colour scheme, in line with workshop tool standards, makes the equipment easy to identify at the workplace.

IP20 rating – what it means
An IP20 rating means the light is protected against the ingress of solid objects larger than 12.5 mm (first digit 2), but has no protection against water (second digit 0). The unit is intended for use in dry indoor areas only – workshops, garages and utility rooms.

Use and maintenance
Before first use, insert three AAA batteries into the battery compartment, observing the correct polarity indicated inside. Replacing the batteries requires no tools – simply open the compartment cover, remove the used batteries and insert new ones.
The light can be attached to metal surfaces using the built-in magnet, or hung from hooks, edges and rails using the folding swivel hook. The hook allows the angle of the light to be adjusted relative to the mounting point.
Switch between the wide-angle lighting mode (24 SMD LEDs) and torch mode (3 LEDs) using the button on the housing. The IP20 rating means the light must not be used in damp conditions or exposed to water.
Protection class III – safe use
Protection class III means the unit is powered by a safety extra-low voltage (SELV – Safety Extra Low Voltage), in this case from batteries. This design ensures maximum safety in use, eliminating the risk of electric shock.
