Protective Tarpaulin 4 x 6 m 57 g/m² VOREL 85125
A universal protective tarpaulin made from polypropylene coated with polyethylene, measuring 4 x 6 metres. The 57 g/m² weight provides basic protection against rain, wind and UV radiation while keeping the material lightweight.
Technical features of the VOREL tarpaulin
Layered PP/PE construction
A polypropylene core covered with polyethylene layers on both sides. This structure combines the rigidity of PP with the water resistance of PE, providing a watertight seal while keeping the material flexible during fitting and folding.
57 g/m² weight
A parameter defining the weight of the material per square metre. A value of 57 g/m² means a lightweight construction, which makes handling and transport easier while providing basic mechanical strength sufficient for short- and medium-term applications.
Reinforced metal eyelets
Fixing points reinforced with metal rings, positioned along the edges. The eyelets protect the material from tearing under rope tension or wind loads, allowing safe securing with cords, ropes or hooks.
Green and silver colouring

Use and care
Fitting and securing
The tarpaulin should be spread over the object being protected, and a rope or cord threaded through the metal eyelets along the edges. It is secured by anchoring it to fixed points or by weighting the edges. The tension should be even to prevent water collecting in hollows.
Storage
After use, the tarpaulin should be dried, cleaned of dirt and folded. Store in a dry place, away from sharp objects and heat sources. Avoid prolonged exposure to direct UV while in storage, as this extends the life of the material.
Limitations of use
A weight of 57 g/m² means basic mechanical strength, suitable for seasonal and short-term applications. For prolonged outdoor use or in conditions of intense wind loads, tarpaulins with a higher weight above 100 g/m² are recommended.
