A street broom with stiff PVC bristles designed for sweeping outdoor and indoor surfaces. This model features a wooden body and a 24 mm handle socket.

PVC bristles
The hard polyvinyl chloride bristles are resistant to abrasion and moisture. They stay rigid when sweeping wet surfaces, which makes it possible to remove stuck-on dirt and fresh snow without losing working performance.
Wooden body construction
The wooden body provides stability during use and cushions the vibrations generated when sweeping uneven surfaces. The wooden construction offers mechanical durability under regular use.
50 cm working width

Choosing a handle for the broom
The broom requires a 24 mm handle, which is purchased separately. VOREL offers compatible handles in models 99420 and 99421. When choosing the handle length, take the user's height into account – a correctly sized handle should reach shoulder height, which ensures an ergonomic working position and reduces strain on the spine.
Use and maintenance
The PVC bristles retain their working properties across a wide temperature range, so the broom can be used all year round. After use, dirt should be removed from the bristles by shaking them out or rinsing them with water.
The wooden body should be protected from prolonged contact with water – after sweeping wet surfaces, store the broom hanging up to prevent moisture from collecting in the socket. Regularly checking the handle fitting eliminates the risk of the joint working loose during heavy use.
PVC bristles need no special maintenance, but with regular use it is worth checking the condition of the fibres from time to time – excessive bending or mechanical damage to the bristles affects sweeping performance.
