VOREL 600 mm aluminium spirit level with three vials

Technical characteristics of the spirit level
Three measuring vials
A horizontal vial, a vertical vial and a 45° vial provide comprehensive checking of surfaces. The arrangement of three vials allows every orientation of a surface to be checked without the need for additional measuring tools.
Aluminium profile
The aluminium construction combines low weight with resistance to distortion. The material does not rust and retains its properties in the damp conditions typical of building sites.
Two handles
The ergonomic handles make it easier to carry and position the tool with one hand. They increase stability when working on vertical surfaces and allow a secure grip when measuring overhead.
Flexible end caps
Protective inserts at the ends of the profile absorb impacts and prevent damage to the vials if the level is dropped. They also protect the surface being measured from scratching.

Choosing the right spirit level length for the job
A 600 mm spirit level is a versatile working length for most finishing and fitting work. It is well suited to measuring surfaces between 40 and 100 cm wide. For bricklaying over longer runs, 1200-2000 mm levels are recommended, while 400 mm models are sufficient for the precise fitting of small components.
Use and maintenance
Before each use, check the calibration of the vials by measuring the same surface with the level turned through 180 degrees. The bubble should give an identical reading in both positions.
After use, clean the profile of mortar, plaster and other building materials. Storing the level horizontally prevents the profile from distorting. Avoid storing it where it may be exposed to direct impacts or heavy point loads.
Vials are sensitive to mechanical shocks. Carrying the tool in a dedicated case or tool bag minimises the risk of it going out of calibration. If the level is dropped from a height of more than 1 metre, the accuracy of the measurement should be verified.
