The KD3578 is an electric wallpaper steamer designed for stripping wallpaper with steam — without the use of chemicals. The unit produces intense steam that penetrates the wallpaper and softens the adhesive layer, allowing the wallcovering to be separated from the wall by hand with minimal risk of damage to the surface underneath.

Use and maintenance
Before first use, fill the tank with water — water only, with no chemical additives. The unit needs time to heat up before it reaches full steaming performance. After use, empty the tank through the drain hose and leave the unit to cool before storing it. Regular descaling of the tank extends the life of the heating element — how often depends on the water hardness in your area.
Practical tip
Before you start, it is worth scoring the wallpaper with a knife or a wallpaper scoring tool — the steam then penetrates more deeply and softens the adhesive faster, particularly with wallpapers covered by a layer of paint or vinyl.
