Use and safety
Fitting and preparation
Before use, check the condition of the hooks and make sure the attachment is correctly hooked both onto the jack and onto the wheel rim. The hooking point on the wheel rim should be in a stable position, away from any damaged sections of the rim. The jack must stand on stable, firm ground.
Load limits
The maximum load capacity of 2 tonnes refers to a static load during vertical lifting. This value must not be exceeded. When lifting on sloping ground or under dynamic loads (snatching, impacts), the actual load capacity may be lower. A safety factor must always be maintained.
Maintenance
After use in off-road conditions, clean the attachment of mud and sand. Regularly checking the condition of the hooks and hooking points makes it possible to detect any cracks or deformation of the material. Storing in a dry place prevents corrosion of the steel components.
