A wire wheel brush with twisted wire, designed for the mechanical cleaning of metal surfaces and the removal of rust, paint and coatings. The 100 mm diameter allows work in hard-to-reach places and on edges.
The twisted wire construction gives the filaments greater strength while keeping them flexible. It minimises the risk of excessive damage to the surface during intensive metal cleaning. The filaments hold their shape for longer than crimped wire.
A 100 mm disc strikes a balance between working area and the ability to work in confined spaces. It can be fitted to angle grinders rated at 500-900 W and reaches its optimum rotational speed.
The brush is mounted on the central spindle, which ensures stable operation at high speeds. It is compatible with standard angle grinders fitted with M14 locking nuts.
A tool intended for mechanical workshops, paint shops and renovation work. It performs well when preparing surfaces before welding, painting or applying protective coatings.

The 100 mm wire wheel brush runs at speeds of 6,000 to 11,000 rpm, depending on the grinder's power output. It is advisable to start at a lower speed and increase it gradually in order to judge how aggressive the cleaning action is. Excessive speed can lead to rapid filament wear and overheating of the surface being worked.
When using a wire wheel brush, safety goggles, work gloves and a dust mask must be worn. Flying particles of metal, rust and paint pose a risk to the eyes and respiratory system. Work should be carried out in a well-ventilated room or outdoors.
Before each use, check the condition of the wire filaments. Worn, bent or broken filaments reduce cleaning efficiency and can cause vibration. The brush should be replaced when the filament diameter has decreased by around 30%, or when visible damage to the structure appears.
