Steel worm drive hose clip for securing hoses and pipes with a diameter of 130-150 mm. Made from W1 galvanised steel, it is designed for use in non-corrosive environments at pressures up to 25 bar.
The worm drive screw mechanism allows precise adjustment of the clamping force. It can be tightened with an Allen key, a Phillips screwdriver or a flat-blade screwdriver, giving flexibility during installation in a range of conditions.
The zinc coating provides protection against corrosion in non-corrosive environments. The W1 designation denotes standard-grade steel with basic galvanic protection, suitable for indoor use and dry conditions.
A band width of 9 mm and thickness of 0.6 mm ensures even distribution of pressure around the circumference of the hose. This design minimises the risk of damaging flexible hoses while maintaining adequate clamping force.
The adjustable clamping range allows fitting to hoses with an outside diameter of 130 to 150 mm. Before purchase, measure the outside diameter of the hose or pipe once it has been fitted onto the hose tail.

Measure the outside diameter of the hose once it has been fitted onto the hose tail or pipe. Choose a clip whose lower range value is less than or equal to that diameter, and whose upper value is greater. Example: for a hose with a diameter of 135 mm, a 130-150 mm clip is suitable. Allow a margin for material tolerances.
Before fitting, check that the surface of the hose and the hose tail are clean and dry. Slide the clip onto the hose, positioning it 5-10 mm from the end. Tighten the screw gradually, checking that the pressure is evenly distributed. Do not overtighten – the tightening torque should be matched to the flexibility of the hose material.
For hoses working under pressure, two clips per connection are recommended, positioned 10-15 mm apart. This arrangement makes the connection more secure and minimises the risk of the hose being forced off.
W1 galvanised steel clips are suitable for use in dry environments or indoors. They must not be used in contact with corrosive chemicals, seawater or in high-humidity conditions. In such cases, choose clips made from stainless steel (A2 or A4).
Check the condition of the connections at regular intervals, particularly in installations exposed to vibration or temperature changes. Check that the clip screw has not worked loose and that there are no signs of corrosion on the surface of the clip. If necessary, retighten or replace the clip.
