Hacksaw blades for hand saws, designed for cutting ferrous and non-ferrous metals. This 12-piece set of 24 TPI blades delivers precise cutting of pipes, rods, angle iron and metal profiles.
TPI (teeth per inch) is the number of teeth per inch of blade length. A 24 TPI pitch is a medium tooth density that works well for cutting metals from 1 to 5 mm thick. It strikes a balance between cutting speed and the quality of the cut surface.
The blades are suitable for cutting a range of metals: structural steel, aluminium, copper, brass, as well as metal pipes and profiles. The versatility of the toothing lets you work with most common materials found in the workshop and on site.
The pack contains 12 blades, giving you an adequate stock of consumables. Metal cutting blades wear out faster than wood cutting blades because of the hardness of the material, so having more of them in the pack is practical.
The blue marking makes it easy to identify blades intended for metal. The colour system used by tool manufacturers lets you quickly tell apart blades for different materials in the workshop.

Metal cutting blades require the right cutting technique. Pressure on the saw should be even, and the pace of work matched to the hardness of the material. Cutting too fast or applying too much pressure leads to overheating and faster blunting of the teeth.
When cutting metal, use personal protective equipment: safety goggles to protect against flying particles, work gloves and protective clothing. Metal can heat up during cutting and form sharp edges.
Checking the condition of the blade before every use helps avoid damage to the material. Blunt or damaged blades should be replaced immediately. A clean cut requires a blade in good condition – worn blades cause excessive vibration and an uneven cut.
Storing blades in a dry place protects them from corrosion. Moisture and contact with chemicals can weaken the steel structure and accelerate tool wear.
