Category S1PL safety footwear with a composite toe cap and flexible anti-penetration insert. Model YT-805931 combines low weight with advanced foot protection systems and is designed for work in warehouses, manufacturing and construction.
Technical characteristics
Composite safety toe cap
The plastic toe cap withstands impacts of up to 200 J and compression of up to 15 kN in accordance with EN 20345. Unlike steel equivalents, it does not conduct temperature, which eliminates discomfort in extreme temperature conditions. It does not trigger metal detectors.
Flexible anti-penetration insert
The 4 mm insert, made from a material used in ballistic armour, protects against penetration by sharp objects up to 1100 N. Its flexible construction preserves the natural biomechanics of the foot, unlike rigid steel inserts.
Two-layer EVA/rubber sole
The sole combines EVA foam, which provides cushioning, with a rubber layer offering increased abrasion resistance. The SR slip-resistant tread guarantees grip on slippery surfaces. Antistatic properties prevent the build-up of charge, while oil resistance protects against degradation on contact with petroleum-based substances.
Breathable ripstop upper
The nylon fabric upper with ripstop technology prevents mechanical damage from spreading. The structure of the material allows air flow, reducing moisture build-up. Thermoplastic polyurethane (TPU) reinforcements and a microfibre layer at the heel increase durability in the areas of greatest stress.

S1PL category marking
Category S1 covers footwear with a safety toe cap, a closed heel area, antistatic properties, shock absorption in the heel area and oil resistance of the sole. The letter P denotes an anti-penetration insert, while L refers to the lightweight construction of the footwear. The S1PL category does not include water resistance – the footwear is intended for dry environments.

Use and care
Before first use, check the condition of the footwear – for damage to the upper, correct attachment of the sole and the integrity of the anti-penetration insert. These safety shoes are intended for dry environments – the S1PL category does not provide water resistance.
Clean with a soft-bristled brush and water with a mild detergent. Do not use organic solvents, which may damage the structure of the ripstop fabric and the TPU reinforcements. Dry at room temperature, away from direct heat sources – radiant heaters and radiators degrade composite materials and EVA foam.
Periodic inspection includes checking the condition of the sole tread (groove depth affects slip resistance), the integrity of the anti-penetration insert (noticeable damage, deformation) and the condition of the composite toe cap after heavy impacts. The footwear should be replaced after visible wear of the protective components or structural damage to the upper.
Choosing the right size
Size 47 corresponds to an insole length of approximately 305–310 mm. Safety footwear should allow 10–15 mm of clearance in front of the toes when standing – the foot increases in volume during work. Footwear that is too tight restricts blood circulation and causes pressure, while footwear that is too loose leads to chafing and reduces the effectiveness of the protection systems. Measure the foot in the afternoon, when it is at its largest.
