S3 category winter safety boots with a steel toe cap and penetration-resistant midsole. Full-grain leather upper with fur lining, PU/PU sole with antistatic and oil-resistant properties. Designed for work in low temperatures and in environments with an increased mechanical risk.
Technical features
Steel toe cap and penetration-resistant midsole
The toe cap withstands impacts of 200 J and compression up to 15 kN, which is equivalent to an object weighing around 20 kg falling from a height of 1 metre. The steel midsole protects the foot against penetration by sharp objects with a force of up to 1100 N – guarding against nails, wires and metal fragments on construction sites and in warehouses.
Fur lining
The fur-lined lining and insole retain heat at sub-zero temperatures. Designed for work in unheated warehouse halls, outdoors during the winter season and in cold stores. The material wicks away moisture, preventing the feet from overheating during strenuous work.
PU/PU sole with shock absorption
The two-layer polyurethane sole provides heel cushioning, reducing the strain on the joints when walking on hard surfaces. Its antistatic properties prevent the build-up of electrostatic charges, which matters in environments at risk of vapour or dust ignition.

This category is intended for environments with an increased mechanical risk and contact with moisture.
Care and use
Full-grain leather requires regular care – clean off dirt with a brush and then apply polish or a leather impregnating product. This keeps the material supple and extends the life of the footwear. After working in wet conditions, dry the boots at room temperature, away from heat sources – drying them on a radiator may cause the leather to crack and the fur lining to lose its insulating properties.
The insoles can be removed and dried separately, which speeds up drying and prevents bacteria from developing. Checking the sole for tread wear and inspecting the integrity of the penetration-resistant midsole are essential maintenance tasks – a damaged midsole no longer provides protection against penetration.
Sizing
When choosing a size, take into account the thickness of winter socks and any orthopaedic insoles. Leave about 1 cm of space in front of the toes – footwear that is too tight restricts blood circulation, which intensifies the feeling of cold. The manufacturer uses the standard EU size chart.
