The steel toe cap withstands impacts of up to 200 J and compression loads of up to 15 kN, equivalent to the forces generated by falling tools or structural components. The steel penetration-resistant midsole protects the foot against piercing by sharp objects with a force of up to 1100 N, minimising the risk of puncture wounds in environments with nails, wires or sharp debris.
The two-layer polyurethane outsole combines oil resistance, antistatic properties and a slip-resistant tread pattern with grooves. Antistatic properties prevent the build-up of electrical charge, which matters in environments with a risk of discharge. Shock absorption under the heel reduces strain on the spine during many hours of standing work.
The fleece layer in the lining and insole increases thermal insulation, retaining warmth at sub-zero temperatures and in cold conditions. This solution is used in winter boots designed for outdoor work in the autumn and winter months or in unheated storage and production areas.
Full-grain leather is resistant to abrasion and mechanical damage while retaining its flexibility over a long service life. Category S3 is used in environments with a high mechanical risk, where sharp objects and industrial fluids are present.
Before first use, check that the size fits your foot – safety boots should be fitted with around 1 cm of clearance in front of the toes to ensure comfort when moving and working in a bent position. The insole should be removed and dried regularly, which prevents moisture build-up and the growth of bacteria.
The leather upper should be cleaned with a damp cloth and treated with leather care products, particularly after contact with water or chemicals.
