The 11 mm combination spanner is made from chrome vanadium steel with a satin finish. This double-ended tool combines an open end with a 12-point ring end and is designed for fitting and removing metric bolts and nuts.
A material known for its increased hardness and resistance to wear. The chromium content provides corrosion resistance, while vanadium increases mechanical strength, which translates into a longer tool life under intensive use.
The matt, satin finish reduces glare during work, makes the tool easier to keep clean and provides a better grip in the hand. It also protects against corrosion and gives the tool a neat appearance.
The 12-point ring end allows the spanner to engage a nut every 30 degrees, which is particularly important in areas with limited working space. This reduces the need for a full turn of the spanner and speeds up work in hard-to-reach locations.
Combining an open end and a ring end in a single tool increases its versatility. The open end is ideal for initial loosening and tightening, while the ring end allows precise tightening to the correct torque.

An 11 mm spanner fits nuts and bolt heads with a spanner size of 11 mm (AF - Across Flats). In the metric system this usually corresponds to M7 bolts. Before buying, measure the width of the nut or check the technical documentation for the equipment. For hexagon head bolts, the spanner size corresponds to the distance between opposite flats.
A combination spanner should be matched exactly to the size of the nut or bolt. Using a spanner of the wrong size damages the edges of the fasteners as well as the tool itself. When tightening, use the ring end, which spreads the force over a larger area and minimises the risk of scratching or rounding the corners.
After use, clean the tool of dirt and dry it. Storing it in a dry place and periodically protecting it with a thin layer of anti-corrosion oil extends the service life of the spanner. Avoid using the spanner as a lever or a hammer, as this can cause permanent deformation.
Combination spanners are manufactured in accordance with ISO 3318 and ISO 7738, which specify dimensions, tolerances and strength requirements. YATO tools meet the quality standards for hand tools used in professional conditions.
