YATO YT-08530 120 LED Under-Bonnet Work Light for Engine Bay Illumination
LED work light designed to be mounted on the bonnet. It provides effective illumination during service work in the engine bay thanks to 120 LEDs and two operating modes.
Features of the LED Work Light
Bonnet Mounting System
The extendable magnetic bracket allows the light to be mounted securely on the bonnet. The magnets provide a firm hold on metal surfaces, and the extendable design makes it possible to adjust to bonnets of different widths.
Two LED Operating Modes
Choose between a 60 LED mode (8 hours of operating time) and the full 120 LED mode (4 hours of operating time). The half mode extends battery run time for less demanding tasks, while the full mode provides maximum illumination.
NiMH 1800 mAh Battery
The nickel-metal hydride battery with a voltage of 7.2 V and a capacity of 1800 mAh provides a long operating time without the need to replace the batteries. NiMH technology is characterised by a low memory effect and can be recharged many times.
Additional Hanging Options
The bracket is fitted with hooks that allow alternative ways of mounting the light. The light can be removed from the bracket and used separately, which increases flexibility in a range of workshop conditions.

Use and Maintenance
Operating Modes and Run Time
The light offers two operating modes suited to different lighting intensities. The 60 LED mode provides 8 hours of operation at moderate brightness, which is suitable for longer service jobs. The 120 LED mode (full power) provides maximum illumination for 4 hours, which is useful for precision work requiring strong light.
Mounting and Positioning
Before mounting the light, make sure that the bonnet surface is clean and metallic (the magnets require a ferromagnetic surface). The extended bracket should be evenly tensioned. The hooks can be used as alternative attachment points on the structural components of the bonnet or other parts of the vehicle.
NiMH Battery – Recommendations
Nickel-metal hydride batteries should be recharged regularly, even when the light is not in use (every 2-3 months). Avoid fully discharging the battery, as this may shorten its service life. The first 3-4 charging cycles should be full ones (complete discharge and full charge) in order to form the battery.
