YATO YT-09191 4-Piece Tool Box Set on Platform, S12 System
A modular tool storage system comprising a rolling platform and three compatible cases, each with a different purpose. A solution that keeps the workshop mobile and separates equipment in a practical way within the S12 system.
Features of the tool organiser set
Mobile platform with swivel castors
The base is fitted with four 75 mm castors (97 mm high), two of which are braked. The swivel action makes it easy to manoeuvre the set in confined workshop spaces. A 100 kg load capacity lets you move a full set of equipment in one go instead of making repeated trips.
Three case types for dedicated storage
The set comprises a 2-drawer case (YT-08973), a 3-drawer case (YT-08974) and a dedicated power tool case (YT-09170). Each module is intended for a different type of equipment, so hand tools are never mixed with measuring instruments.
Internal organisation with dividers
The drawer cases contain movable dividers and bins, so the layout can be adapted to the size of the tools you have. This prevents items from shifting in transit and makes it quick to find the component you need.
Power tool protection with foam layers
The top module, YT-09170, is fitted with a two-layer protective foam insert. This design shields measuring, diagnostic and precision instruments from mechanical shocks when the set is moved over uneven surfaces.

S12 compatibility system
The YT-09190 platform and all case modules are designed to the YATO S12 standard. This means individual segments can be swapped for other units available in the manufacturer's range (17 compatible models). The configuration can be adapted to changing requirements without having to buy an entirely new storage system.
Construction and use
The polypropylene (PP) used in production provides resistance to mechanical impact and to the chemicals found in a workshop environment. The modular construction allows cases to be stacked vertically using dedicated latches, which increases the stability of the whole set in transit.
The 75 mm swivel castors roll over thresholds and uneven ground up to around 2 cm high. Brakes on two of the castors lock the platform in its working position, preventing the set from moving inadvertently while tools are being taken out.
The transport handles on the platform and on each case make it possible to carry individual modules separately when the whole set does not need to be moved. This is useful when working on upper floors without a lift or in areas with limited access.
Internal organisation of the modules
The drawer cases (YT-08973 and YT-08974) are fitted with movable dividers that allow compartments to be created to suit the length of spanners, screwdrivers or bits. The removable bins are intended for small items such as screws, washers and clamps.
The power tool module (YT-09170) has a two-layer insert, where the top layer can be cut to the outline of the equipment. The lower layer absorbs shocks and protects the plastic housings of multimeters, testers and laser levels from damage.
