YATO YT-09211 pneumatic coil roofing nailer for 22-45 mm roofing nails

Features of the YATO YT-09211 pneumatic nailer

120-nail coil magazine

The high-capacity coil magazine holds 120 roofing nails at a time, which reduces the number of interruptions when fixing larger roof areas. The side-loading system makes it easy to change nail coils quickly without disconnecting the tool from the air hose.

Die-cast magnesium alloy body

The die-cast magnesium alloy construction provides high mechanical strength while keeping the tool light. This material is resistant to mechanical damage and corrosion, which extends the service life of the nailer under intensive on-site use.

Impact force adjustment and firing modes

Adjustable impact force allows you to work with different base materials — from softwood to hard OSB boards. The trigger mode selector lets you choose between single-fire mode (precise positioning) and rapid bump-fire mode (efficient fastening over larger areas).

Contact safety and rotating exhaust

The contact safety mechanism prevents accidental firing — the nose must be pressed against the work surface before the mechanism will operate. The rotating exhaust port lets you direct the compressed air stream away from the operator's face, making the tool more comfortable to use.

Roofing nails — key characteristics

Roofing nails have a large, flat head 10-12 mm in diameter that prevents the roofing material from tearing through. They are used mainly in roofing work for fixing flexible coverings. The 22-45 mm range covers both thin boarding (22-25 mm) and thicker structures (40-45 mm).

Use and maintenance of the pneumatic nailer

The pneumatic nailer must be connected to an air compressor with suitable specifications. The recommended working pressure is typically 6-8 bar. Before starting work, check the condition of the air hose and the tightness of the connections. The 1/4" inlet is standard on pneumatic tools and ensures compatibility with most quick-release couplings.

Routine maintenance includes lubricating the internal mechanism with air tool oil — add a few drops of oil to the air inlet before each working day. Once you have finished work, wipe dust and dirt from the exterior of the tool. Empty the nails from the magazine during longer breaks in use.

Compressor requirements

For the nailer to work efficiently, you need a compressor with a delivery of at least 150-200 litres per minute and a tank capacity of at least 24 litres. Smaller compressors may cause pressure drops during intensive work, which affects how deeply the nails are driven. A water trap and pressure regulator are recommended.
