Protective covers for vice jaws, made from aluminium with a 10 mm rubber coating. Magnetic fitting does away with the need for tools, and the soft surface prevents damage to the workpiece.
The thick rubber coating cushions the clamping pressure of the vice jaws, eliminating the risk of scratches, dents or distortion on aluminium, brass, plastic or painted surfaces. The textured rubber surface increases friction, which stops the workpiece slipping during work.
Built-in neodymium magnets hold the covers on the steel jaws of the vice without the need for screws or clamps. Fitting and removal takes seconds, so the set-up can be changed quickly to suit the material being worked.
The aluminium base gives the jaws rigidity and resistance to distortion under standard clamping forces. Aluminium does not rust and retains its mechanical properties throughout its service life, even in damp conditions.
The 75 mm dimension refers to the width of the vice jaw. Before buying, measure the jaw width of your vice – the covers must match this figure so that they sit correctly and do not overhang the edges. The product fits most standard workshop vices of this width.

Before buying, measure the jaw width of your vice with a tape measure or ruler. 75 mm covers fit only vices with the same jaw width. If you are unsure, check the technical documentation for your vice or contact the manufacturer.
Before fitting the covers, clean the vice jaws of dirt, swarf and traces of oil – this gives better magnetic contact. Place the covers on the jaws and check that they sit evenly. The magnets will hold the covers during standard work, but where very high clamping forces are used it is worth checking their position.
After work, remove chips, swarf and dust from the rubber surface with a brush or compressed air. Avoid contact with organic solvents, mineral oils and corrosive substances, which can damage the rubber. Store the covers in a dry place, away from direct sunlight.
