Reusable cable ties with a releasable mechanism, made from nylon PA66 with UL 94 V-2 certification. Designed for organising and securing cable bundles in electrical installations, workshops and industrial applications.
Technical features of the YATO YT-70660 cable ties
Releasable mechanism - repeated use
The design allows the locking mechanism to be released, so the tie can be reopened without being damaged. This makes it possible to modify cable bundles, add new cables or provide temporary securing during installation and servicing work.
Nylon PA66 with UL 94 V-2 certification
The material meets the UL 94 V-2 flammability standard, meaning it is self-extinguishing once the ignition source is removed. Nylon PA66 provides mechanical stability over a wide temperature range and resistance to most chemicals used in industry.
Dielectric strength of 300 kV/mm
This parameter defines the material's ability to insulate against electrical voltage. A value of 300 kV/mm confirms that the ties are safe for use in low-voltage electrical installations, preventing current from conducting through the body of the tie.
Temperature range from -20 to +80°C

Use and maintenance
Installation and removal
Feed the end of the tie through the head with the locking mechanism, looping it around the cable bundle. Pull tight until the required pressure is achieved - the ratchet mechanism will lock the tie automatically. To release, press the catch in the head and gently loosen the loop. Avoid over-tightening, which may damage cable insulation.
Choosing the right tie size
The maximum bundle diameter of 35 mm refers to the circumference of the cables once tightened. Before installation, measure the bundle circumference or estimate the diameter - for a bundle with a diameter of 11 mm the circumference is approximately 35 mm. Leave a margin of slack so that cables can be added later without replacing the tie.
Storage conditions
Store in a dry place, protected from direct sunlight. Nylon PA66 retains its properties for many years, but prolonged exposure to UV radiation before installation may shorten its service life. Storage temperature is not critical under typical office and workshop conditions.
