Full-grain leather on the palm
Full-grain leather has a smooth, intact outer surface, which gives it greater mechanical strength and abrasion resistance than split leather. Using leather on the palm and fingertips provides a secure grip on tools and protection against abrasion during work involving contact with rough surfaces.
Cotton knit on the back of the hand
Natural cotton provides adequate air circulation, reducing excessive sweating of the hands during prolonged work. The material is soft to the touch and does not cause irritation, which matters when the gloves are worn for many hours. The cotton knit increases the flexibility of the glove across the back of the hand.
Cuff with Velcro fastening
The Velcro fastening lets you adjust the wrist circumference, so the glove can be fitted to the individual shape of the hand. The fastening keeps the glove in place during work and prevents dirt from getting inside. It also makes the gloves easier to put on and take off.

Choosing the right size of work gloves
To choose the right size, measure the circumference of your hand at its widest point (below the knuckles, excluding the thumb). Size 10 corresponds to a circumference of 254–279 mm. The glove should fit closely but without pinching – a size that is too tight restricts finger movement and blood circulation, while one that is too loose reduces grip precision and may slip off during work.
Care and use
Leather gloves need proper care to maintain their protective properties. After work, remove dirt with a brush or a dry cloth. Dry damp gloves at room temperature, away from direct heat sources – drying them on a radiator hardens the leather and reduces its flexibility.
Washing the gloves in a washing machine is not recommended. If they are heavily soiled, wipe the leather with a slightly damp cloth and a little mild soap, then leave to dry. Treating the leather periodically with a specialist conditioner extends the life of the gloves.
Store the gloves in a dry place, protected from direct sunlight. Prolonged exposure to UV light causes both the leather and the cotton knit to lose their flexibility.
Limitations of use
Yato YT-74640 gloves are not intended for work requiring protection against chemicals, high temperatures, sharp edges or high-energy mechanical hazards.
