The overall length of 82 cm is the distance from the highest point of the collar to the bottom hem of the shirt. The underarm width of 65 cm is measured in a straight line between the side seams.
Fabric weight and seasonal use
At 200 g/m², this shirt counts as medium-weight clothing. Fabric of this weight works well at room temperature and in moderately warm conditions. It is thicker than standard summer T-shirts (140–160 g/m²) but thinner than winter clothing (over 250 g/m²). Suitable for wearing indoors in spring, summer and autumn, and outdoors on warmer days.
Care and durability
Cotton jersey knit retains its properties when washed at temperatures up to 40°C. At 200 g/m², the fabric withstands the mechanical stress of machine washing. The rib knit on the collar and cuffs needs no special care – it keeps its elasticity wash after wash.
Natural cotton can shrink by up to 3–5% after the first wash at a higher temperature. To minimise shrinkage, wash it at 30°C the first time. The material needs no ironing – once dry, the jersey knit is smooth and ready to wear.
