A three-layer softshell jacket with a TPU membrane designed for outdoor work and outdoor activities. The construction combines 8000 mm waterproofing with 3000 MVP breathability to protect against rain and wind while maintaining thermal comfort.
Technical features of the softshell jacket
Three-layer technology with TPU membrane
The construction consists of an outer polyester layer, a thermoplastic polyurethane (TPU) membrane and an inner protective layer. The TPU membrane blocks water from penetrating from the outside (a water column of 8000 mm corresponds to protection against moderate rain) while allowing water vapour to escape (3000 MVP means it can transfer 3000 grams of vapour per square metre in 24 hours).
Material composition: 96% polyester, 4% spandex
The addition of elastane (spandex) to the fabric provides four-way stretch, which translates into freedom of movement during work or physical activity. Polyester guarantees durability, resistance to abrasion and easy care. A fabric weight of 320 g/m² indicates a medium-weight material – sufficient insulation while retaining flexibility.
Microporous structure
Micro-perforations in the membrane allow air circulation, reducing condensation of water vapour inside the jacket during intensive exertion. This prevents the body from overheating and the feeling of dampness typical of fully waterproof jackets with no breathable properties.
Adjustment features and waterproof zips
Width adjustment at the bottom hem and hook-and-loop cuffs allow the jacket to be fitted to the wearer's body and the weather conditions. Waterproof zips on the pockets protect their contents from getting wet. Protection category I under Regulation (EU) 2016/425 denotes protective clothing against minimal risks.

Use and care
Before first use, check that all zips and adjustment features work correctly. A softshell jacket with a TPU membrane should be washed at a maximum temperature of 30°C, without fabric softeners, which can clog the membrane's micropores and reduce breathability.
Do not iron the membrane directly or have the jacket dry-cleaned – solvents damage the thermoplastic polyurethane. After washing, dry the jacket laid flat, away from direct heat sources. Regularly treating the outer layer with DWR (Durable Water Repellent) products restores the fabric's hydrophobic properties and extends the life of the membrane.
Storing the jacket in a dry place on a hanger prevents deformation and damage to the membrane. Avoid prolonged exposure to UV, which degrades polyester and reduces the elasticity of the spandex.
