Yato YT-80409 Work Dungarees, Size L
Work dungarees made from a cotton-polyester blend, designed for workshop, construction and gardening tasks. Fitted with seven work pockets, reinforcement at the stress points and pockets for protective knee pads.
Key features of the Yato work dungarees
245 g/m² cotton-polyester blend
The 35% cotton and 65% polyester composition strikes a balance between breathability and mechanical resistance. A fabric weight of 245 g/m² means medium thickness — enough to protect against scratches and scuffing while still allowing freedom of movement in warmer conditions.
Seven work pockets with fastenings
Four pockets with hook-and-loop fastening keep small tools and components secure when you are bending or kneeling at work. The remaining three pockets give quick access to items you reach for constantly, such as a pencil, tape measure or gloves.
Knee pad pockets
Built-in pockets take foam or gel inserts that reduce pressure on the knee joints during flooring, assembly and gardening work. Knee pads are purchased separately so the hardness can be matched to the surface you are working on.
Waist and brace adjustment
An elasticated insert in the waist and adjustable braces let the dungarees be fitted to different body shapes without any tailoring. Braces with elasticated webbing at the back reduce strain on the shoulders when lifting and bending.

Use and care
Choosing your size
Size L corresponds to standard clothing measurements. Before buying, it is worth comparing the waist measurement and inside leg length with your own. The brace adjustment lets you correct the overall length of the dungarees by a few centimetres.
Washing and care
The cotton-polyester blend should be washed at a temperature of up to 40°C. Avoid chlorine-based bleaches, which weaken polyester fibres. After washing, it is worth smoothing out the seams and pockets to keep their shape. The fabric dries faster than pure cotton.
Fitting the knee pads
Protective knee pads are inserted into the dedicated pockets from the top or the bottom of the leg — this depends on the design of the specific model. Before first use, it is worth checking that the knee pads do not shift while you are kneeling. If necessary, they can be secured additionally with hook-and-loop tape or a button.
