YATO YT-81819 Portable 5W COB Work Light 300lm
Portable workshop work light with COB LED technology delivering a light output of 300 lumens. Fitted with a 2000mAh lithium-ion battery and 4 operating modes, it allows the lighting to be adapted flexibly to working conditions.
Technical features of the work light
5W COB LED Technology
Chip-on-Board is a technology in which multiple LEDs are mounted directly on a substrate, ensuring even light distribution without hot spots. 5W of power at a light output of 300 lumens gives a luminous efficacy of around 60 lm/W, which is enough to illuminate a work area measuring 3-4 m².
3.7V 2000mAh Li-ion Battery
A capacity of 2000mAh allows 5.5 hours of operation in 50% mode or 3 hours at full power. The 3.7V voltage is standard for 18650 lithium-ion cells. Charging via micro USB means the light can be powered from power banks, car chargers or standard 5V USB chargers.
IP54 Rating - Dust and Water Protection
The first digit (5) denotes protection against a limited amount of dust - it does not prevent dust from entering entirely, but this does not affect the operation of the device. The second digit (4) is protection against water splashes from any direction. The work light can be used in rain or in a dusty construction site environment, but it is not suitable for immersion.
4 Operating Modes and Magnetic Base
COB 100% mode (300 lm) provides maximum illumination, COB 50% (150 lm) extends the run time, COB Flash serves as a signalling mode, and torch mode uses an additional light source. The folding handle with a neodymium magnet allows the light to be attached to metal structural components, car bodywork or tools for hands-free use.

Use and maintenance
Charging the battery
Fully charging the 2000mAh battery at a standard charging current of 500mA (USB 2.0) takes around 4-5 hours. Using fast USB chargers (1A or more) can shorten this to 2-3 hours. An LED indicator shows the charging status. Do not leave the work light connected to the charger for a prolonged period once it is fully charged.
Mounting and positioning
The magnetic base works effectively on steel surfaces - it will not hold the work light on aluminium, copper or plastics. The strength of the magnet is sufficient to hold the device on vertical surfaces where there is no vibration. At workstations exposed to shocks, additional securing is recommended. The folding handle allows the work light to be set at an angle of 0-180 degrees.
Maintenance and storage
The housing can be cleaned with a damp cloth - the IP54 rating protects the electronics from moisture. Do not use solvents or detergents. Lithium-ion batteries lose capacity when stored for long periods in a fully discharged state. It is recommended to store the work light at a charge level of 40-60% and to top it up every 3-4 months.
