The YATO YT-82097 angle grinder is a power tool designed for cutting, grinding and finishing metals, concrete and stone. An 850W motor combined with a 125mm disc delivers the performance required for workshop tasks and renovation and construction work.
The 850W motor provides enough output for cutting structural steel, concrete and stone. A speed of 12,000 rpm allows efficient grinding and removal of rust, paint and protective coatings from metal surfaces.
The slim housing makes the tool easier to guide in confined spaces and along edges. The short gearbox housing allows work in hard-to-reach areas where standard grinders may be too bulky.
The HRC parameter (Rockwell Hardness Scale) defines the hardness of the gear material. A value of 53-56 HRC indicates hardened steel with high wear resistance, which translates into a longer tool life under intensive use.
The motor's copper winding with thermal protection guards against overheating during prolonged work. The cooling system dissipates heat from the motor and gearing, which reduces the risk of failure and extends continuous operating periods.

A 125mm angle grinder takes discs with an outside diameter of 125mm and a 22.23mm mounting bore. For cutting metal, use cutting discs (type 41); for surface grinding, use cup wheels or flap discs. The maximum disc speed must be equal to or higher than 12,000 rpm.
When working with an angle grinder, wear safety goggles, cut-resistant gloves and hearing protection. The guard must be fitted in line with the direction of work. Disconnect the tool from the mains before changing a disc. Never remove the guard or work without it.
After finishing work, clean dust and swarf from the housing with compressed air. The ventilation slots must be kept clear to ensure proper motor cooling. Check the carbon brushes every 50 hours of operation and replace them when their length falls below 6mm. The gearbox should be greased every 100 hours of operation.
