Yato YT-82905 12V Brushless Cut-Off Tool
A cordless cut-off tool with a brushless motor for cutting metal, ceramics, wood and PVC. A compact tool with a 76 mm disc diameter, powered by 12V batteries from the Yato system. The set includes three cutting discs for different materials.

BLDC Brushless Motor
Brushless technology eliminates wearing carbon brushes, which translates into a longer tool life, higher energy efficiency and lower noise levels during operation. The motor generates less internal resistance, so the battery lasts longer on a single charge.
Speed of 19,500 rpm
The high spindle speed ensures clean cut edges and shortens the time needed to complete the job. This parameter matters especially when cutting hard materials - the higher the speed, the lower the risk of chipping and cracking on the edges of the cut pieces.
Set of Three Cutting Discs
The set includes: a corundum disc for metal, a diamond disc for ceramics and a universal disc with tungsten grit. This removes the need to buy extra accessories and lets you start working with different materials straight after purchasing the tool.
Spindle Lock and Ergonomics

Compatibility Information
The tool requires a battery and charger from the Yato 12V system, which must be purchased separately. The YT-82909 (2 Ah) and YT-82910 (4 Ah) batteries are compatible with the entire Yato 12V cordless tool range, allowing you to build a tool kit with interchangeable power sources.

Use and Maintenance

While working, guide the tool evenly without excessive pressure - the weight of the tool is enough for effective cutting.
After each use, clean dust and swarf from the housing with compressed air. The motor's ventilation slots must remain clear to ensure heat dissipation. Replace cutting discs as soon as signs of wear appear - blunt discs put extra load on the motor and battery, shortening run time.
Safety at Work
Wear safety glasses and work gloves while cutting. Metal materials may heat up during cutting - after finishing work, wait for the blade and material to cool down. Never lock the switch in the continuous-on position - the tool should stop when the button is released.
