25% vibration reduction

How to check chain compatibility with your chainsaw
To match a chain to a chainsaw, three parameters need to be checked: the guide bar length (in inches or centimetres), the chain pitch (the distance between three consecutive rivets divided by two) and the drive link gauge (the width of the section that fits into the guide bar groove). All three values must match the chainsaw manufacturer's data. These parameters are usually stamped on the guide bar or given in the operator's manual.

Maintenance and use
The chain requires regular lubrication with chainsaw chain oil. The lubrication system ensures the oil is distributed evenly across all links, which reduces friction and wear. Check the chain tension before starting work – a correctly tensioned chain should sit snugly against the guide bar but still be pullable a few millimetres away from it. A chain that is too loose can come off the guide bar, while one that is too tight wears faster.
Check that the cutters are sharp before every longer use. A blunt chain requires more pressure, which increases engine wear and the risk of kickback. Sharpening can be done with a round file of the correct diameter for .325" pitch or with an electric chain sharpener. All cutters should be sharpened at the same angle and to the same length.
