The 42.7 cm³ displacement delivers 1.7 HP, which allows dense grass, tall weeds and young scrub to be cut effectively without overloading the drive unit. A two-stroke engine requires a fuel and oil mix in the correct ratio.
Split-shaft design
The split design allows the brushcutter to be taken apart into two sections, which reduces its transport dimensions and makes it easier to store in a garage, basement or car boot. The joint stays stable during use.
Easy Start system
This starting aid reduces the force needed to pull the starter cord. It is particularly useful when the brushcutter is started frequently or in lower temperatures, when the engine is harder to start.
Anti-vibration handle

Use and maintenance
Preparing the fuel mix
A two-stroke engine requires a mix of unleaded petrol and two-stroke oil. The mixing ratio (usually 1:40 or 1:50) is given in the operating manual. An incorrect ratio can damage the piston and cylinder.
Fuel priming system
The primer bulb makes it easier to fill the fuel system before the first start of the day. Pressing the bulb several times removes air bubbles from the fuel lines, which shortens the time needed to start the engine.
Changing the cutting head
The brushcutter takes both a cutting line (for grass and weeds) and a metal blade (for scrub). The 430 mm cutting width for the line is the diameter of the circle traced by the tip of the line. The 255 mm blade is designed for cutting thicker stems.
Routine maintenance
After each use, clean plant debris from the cutting head. Periodically check the condition of the spark plug, the air filter and the tension of the starter cord. On a bump-feed head, the line is replaced by pressing the button and pulling the ends out.
