Heater technical features
1500W halogen lamp
The halogen filament reaches full output within 1 second of switch-on. IR-A infrared radiation heats surfaces and bodies within range directly, which translates into lower energy consumption than convective air heating.
IP44 protection rating
The housing is protected against water spray from any direction and against objects larger than 1 mm. The IP44 rating allows installation in semi-open spaces such as covered patios, gazebos or garage canopies.
5000-hour filament lifespan

Installation and use
Installation requirements
The heater must be mounted to a ceiling or load-bearing structure using the dedicated brackets. The minimum installation height is usually 1.8 m from the ground. A safe distance from flammable materials must be maintained in accordance with the manufacturer's instructions. The unit requires connection to a 230V mains supply by a qualified electrician.
How infrared radiation works
Infrared heaters emit electromagnetic waves in the IR-A range, which turn into heat when they meet a surface. Unlike convection heaters, they do not warm the air but heat objects and people within range of the radiation directly. This approach minimises heat loss in open and poorly insulated spaces.
Maintenance
The halogen heater requires no complex maintenance. Periodic cleaning of the housing and reflector with a dry cloth is recommended, with the unit switched off and cooled down. The condition of the mounting fixings should be checked once every season of use.
