Impact socket designed for use with air tools and ratchets in industrial conditions. Made from hardened steel and engineered to transmit high torques and impact loads.
The 25.4 mm (1") square drive allows the socket to be used with heavy-duty pneumatic and hydraulic impact wrenches. This is the standard size for industrial applications requiring torque above 300 Nm.
The reinforced construction in hardened chrome vanadium steel withstands repeated impact loads. The socket walls are thicker than those of standard versions, which prevents cracking when working with air impact wrenches.
The internal hex profile, machined to higher tolerance classes, ensures a full fit on the nut. This minimises the risk of the socket slipping off and damaging the corners of the fastener.
The oxidised surface increases resistance to corrosion and abrasion. The matt finish makes impact sockets easy to identify in a tool set and reduces glare in workshop conditions.

The socket is compatible with 1" drive air impact wrenches, heavy-duty ratchets and hydraulic torque wrenches. Before use, check the maximum torque of the driving tool and make sure that the 27 mm size matches the nut or bolt.
Before each use, check the condition of the socket bore and the drive square. Cracks, clear signs of wear or deformation mean the socket must be withdrawn from use for safety reasons.
After use, clean the socket of dirt and oil. Storing it in a dry place prevents corrosion, despite the protective coating. Regular lubrication of the drive square extends the service life of both the socket and the driving tool.
Do not use impact sockets with long-handled manual wrenches such as breaker bars. The impact design is intended for use with tools that generate controlled pulses, not for static loads.
