An impact socket designed for heavy-duty work with high-torque pneumatic and electric impact wrenches. Made from CrV chrome vanadium steel, it delivers lasting durability under intensive workshop use.
Technical features
1" square drive
The 1-inch (25.4 mm) square is the standard drive on heavy-duty industrial tools. It transmits torques above 1000 Nm, as required when undoing wheel nuts on HGVs, construction machinery and industrial installations.
CrV chrome vanadium steel
The chromium and vanadium alloy increases hardness and wear resistance while retaining sufficient elasticity. This material withstands impact loads without cracking, which is crucial when working with air impact wrenches that generate high-energy impulses.
Impact-rated construction
The reinforced design with a thicker wall profile withstands repeated impact loads. Impact sockets have a different internal geometry from standard sockets – they are designed to absorb impact energy without damage.

Tool compatibility
The socket works with pneumatic impact wrenches (e.g. 3/4 HP or larger) and with electric models fitted with a 1" drive. Before use, check that the torque of the wrench is suitable for the 95 mm size – this typically requires tools with a torque above 1200 Nm.
Use and maintenance
Impact sockets require regular greasing of the drive square, particularly during intensive use. Use a grease with EP (Extreme Pressure) properties that withstands high point loads. After each use, clean the socket of contamination and check the condition of the working edges – worn or scored surfaces can damage the bolt head.
When working with air impact wrenches it is important to set the correct air pressure (usually 6–8 bar) and to increase the torque gradually. A sudden overload, even with an impact tool, can deform the hexagon socket.
