A deep 6-point socket in chrome vanadium steel, designed for use with 1/2" ratchets and impact wrenches. Its deep profile gives access to recessed fasteners.
Key features
Chrome vanadium steel (CRV)
A chromium-vanadium alloy offers greater hardness and wear resistance than ordinary carbon steel. Heat treatment further improves the mechanical properties, extending tool life under intensive use.
Deep profile design
A deep socket reaches bolts and nuts set deep in mounting recesses, holes or hard-to-reach locations where a standard socket will not do. Typically used when working on suspension, engine or exhaust components.
6-point (hex) profile
The six-point working profile spreads force evenly across all edges of the nut or bolt head, minimising the risk of rounding the corners. The standard choice for metric and imperial hex-head bolts.
