A 1/2" drive socket set designed for mechanical, service and workshop tasks. It includes an AS-Drive ratchet, sockets, extension bars and accessories in a 25-piece set.
A material with increased hardness and wear resistance. The chrome vanadium alloy provides flexibility combined with resistance to high torque, which translates into a long tool life under intensive workshop use.
A technology that transmits torque through the side faces of the profile rather than the corners. It increases torque by 25% compared with standard sockets and reduces the risk of damaging bolts and nuts, particularly on corroded or worn fasteners.
The 72-tooth mechanism allows work with a minimum range of movement – just 5 degrees per cycle. A solution useful in confined spaces where a full turn of the tool is not possible. The three-component handle increases comfort during prolonged work.
Includes sockets in various sizes, extension bars, a spinner handle and a reducer to a smaller drive. The contents allow most standard mechanical tasks to be carried out without the need to buy additional accessories.

A 1/2" drive (12.7 mm) is a medium-sized square drive used to mount sockets. It is used for tasks requiring moderate and medium torque – wheel fitting, work on the exhaust system, suspension and engine. Smaller than a 3/4" drive (for heavy work) and larger than 1/4" and 3/8" (for electronics and precision work).
Before use, check the condition of the ratchet mechanism – the direction switch should operate smoothly, without play. Sockets are matched to the size of the bolt or nut, avoiding the use of adaptors, which can reduce precision and torque transmission.
After work, clean the tools of dirt and oil residue. The ratchet mechanism should be lubricated periodically with technical grease, which ensures smooth operation and extends its service life. Storing in a dry place, in the dedicated case, protects against corrosion and mechanical damage.
The 1/2" drive set works with all sockets and accessories of the same drive size. The reducer supplied with the set allows the use of sockets with a smaller drive (usually 3/8" or 1/4"). Before buying additional sockets, always check the drive size marking.
