A complete socket and accessory set with a 72-tooth ratchet in 1/4 inch drive. Made from CrV 50BV30 chrome vanadium steel with the AS-Drive system for increased torque.
A steel alloy with added chromium and vanadium for increased hardness and wear resistance. The 50BV30 designation indicates a precisely defined material composition, which translates into a long service life under intensive use in workshop conditions.
A technology based on the special shape of the socket's interior, which transfers pressure to the flat surfaces of the nut rather than its corners. This increases torque by around 25% and minimises the risk of damaging fasteners, particularly worn or rusted bolts.
The 72-tooth mechanism requires a swing of only 5 degrees, allowing work in confined spaces. The more teeth, the smaller the angle needed for the next engagement, which matters when working in hard-to-reach assembly locations.
The 6.3 mm square drive is the standard for light mechanical and electronic work. A set of this size is suited to torques of up to around 100 Nm, which covers most applications in automotive, electronics and minor repairs.

The 1/4" drive is standardised to ISO 1174-1, which means full interchangeability with other tools of this size. The ratchet and sockets in the set can be combined with extension bars, universal joints and bits from other manufacturers that use the same drive standard.
Before first use, check the condition of the ratchet mechanism and make sure the direction switch operates smoothly. Sockets should be seated on the drive to the full depth of the socket, which prevents them from falling off during work.
After finishing work, clean the tools of dust and dirt with a dry cloth. If they come into contact with moisture or chemicals, protect the surface with a thin layer of tool oil. Storing them in the original case protects the components from mechanical damage and makes it easy to check that the set is complete.
The ratchet mechanism requires periodic lubrication – a few drops of machine oil applied through the hole in the head are sufficient. Do not apply excessive force when using extension bars, as this can damage the ratchet mechanism.
