Polycarbonate offers exceptional mechanical strength — it does not crack when dropped, withstands impacts and does not flake like acrylic plastics. It stays clear throughout its service life, allowing the contents to be checked visually without opening the container.
Temperature range from -40°C to +99°C
The wide temperature range allows storage in industrial freezers, chillers and at room temperature. The material does not deform or lose its properties under extreme thermal conditions.
Smooth internal walls
The absence of crevices and grooves makes hand washing and cleaning in commercial dishwashers easier. The smooth surface prevents bacteria and food residue from collecting, which is essential for HACCP compliance.
Stacking system and graduated markings
Special moulded recesses in the base allow containers to be stacked securely, saving storage space. Graduated markings in litres and quarts on the side make it quick to determine the contents without decanting.

Polycarbonate properties in a foodservice context
Polycarbonate does not absorb odours or flavours, which prevents aromas from being transferred between different products stored in the same container at different times. The material resists food acids, fats and salts while remaining chemically inert. Its clarity makes it easy to identify contents and check stock levels without breaking the seal.
Use and care
The container can be washed by hand and in commercial dishwashers at temperatures up to 85°C. The side handles make it easier to carry a full container — with 12 litres of water the total weight is around 13 kg. The coating on the outer edges prevents scratching when stacking and during transport.
A space for a label with the production or use-by date supports stock rotation under the FIFO (First In, First Out) system. Graduated markings in litres and quarts allow ingredients to be measured accurately without additional measuring tools.
Square design and space optimisation
The 280 × 280 mm dimensions comply with Gastronorm (GN) standards, allowing chiller and storage shelving space to be used efficiently. The square shape removes the wasted space typical of round containers.
