The KD12692 is a comprehensive precision tool set designed for servicing electronics, mobile devices and small equipment. The set contains 108 H4×28 mm CR-V steel bits covering a wide range of screw profiles, together with accessories to assist with disassembly — a flexible shaft, tweezers, a suction cup and a complete set of opening tools.
Set features
CR-V steel bits
Chrome vanadium steel (CR-V) is characterised by increased hardness and resistance to deformation. With precision bits, where torque is low and screw profiles are fine, the hardness of the material determines whether the tip retains its geometry after repeated use — which has a direct bearing on the risk of slipping out of the screw head.
Adjustable handle and flexible shaft
The adjustable screwdriver handle lets you tailor torque and grip to the task at hand. The flexible extension allows screws to be tightened and loosened in places a straight handle cannot reach — for example beneath mainboards, behind screens or inside deep recesses in enclosures.
Disassembly accessories
The set includes 12 POM opening tools and pry bars (3 types), precision tweezers, a service suction cup and a precision knife. POM plastic is anti-static and will not scratch enclosure surfaces — an important characteristic when working with screens and painted panels. The suction cup makes it easier to lift screens bonded to frames.
Electric screwdriver adapter
The supplied adapter allows the H4×28 mm bits to be used in standard electric screwdrivers with a bit holder. This extends the use of the set beyond hand-held precision screwdrivers — for example for assembly work involving a larger number of screw connections.
