The KD424 workshop parts washer is a closed-circuit unit for cleaning mechanical components — it pumps cleaning fluid from its own tank and delivers it through a flexible delivery spout directly onto the parts being cleaned. The steel construction and built-in 230V circulation pump make the unit suitable for a permanent workshop bay.

Closed-circuit fluid system
The pump draws cleaning fluid from the bottom of the tank and feeds it under pressure to the nozzle. The used fluid drains back into the tank, which reduces cleaning agent consumption and minimises waste during operation.
Flexible gooseneck delivery spout
The flexible metal spout lets you set the nozzle at any angle and holds its position without being held. It makes cleaning irregularly shaped parts and hard-to-reach surfaces easier.
Steel housing and tank
The steel construction is resistant to typical workshop fluids — solvents, paraffin and dedicated parts cleaning agents. The material does not deform under mechanical stress during daily use.
230V / 26W circulation pump
Mains power at 230V removes the need for batteries. A power draw of 26W means low electricity consumption during longer cleaning sessions in the workshop.
Fluid temperature limit
The maximum working temperature of the cleaning fluid is 35°C. The unit is not designed to work with hot liquids or to heat the fluid — use cleaning agents at room temperature or ones that have been slightly warmed externally.

Choosing a cleaning fluid
The unit works with purified paraffin, dedicated parts cleaning agents and diluted degreasing preparations. Do not use aggressive acids or alkalis, which can damage the pump seals. Before first use, check the compatibility of the chosen agent with the seal material specified by the fluid manufacturer.
Use and maintenance
After finishing work, it is advisable to empty the tank or cover the unit to limit evaporation of the cleaning fluid. The pump filter (if fitted) should be cleaned regularly — a clogged filter reduces the flow rate below the stated 3.5 l/min. It is worth periodically flushing the steel tank with clean solvent to remove sediment from the bottom that could block the pump inlet.
The 145 cm power cord allows connection to a socket located a short distance from the work bay. If work needs to be carried out further from the socket, use an extension lead with a cross-sectional area suited to the unit's power draw.
