Magnetic Windscreen Frost Cover 170x120cm GEKO G73859
A frost cover designed to protect the vehicle's windscreen against icing, frost and snow. It keeps the windscreen from freezing through the winter, removing the need to scrape ice and wait for lengthy defrosting.
Technical features
Coated aluminium
The material is resistant to moisture and low temperatures. The coating protects against corrosion and ensures durability in winter conditions, including contact with the de-icing agents used on roads.
Ferrite magnets in protective pockets
The magnets sit in soft pockets that protect the paintwork from scratches. Positioning them at strategic points makes the cover sit evenly against the bonnet and windscreen, so it does not shift in the wind.
Side securing flaps
Additional flaps at the sides of the cover let you secure it by trapping them in the vehicle doors. This makes the cover more stable and stops it being torn off by stronger gusts of wind or attempts at theft.

The size is matched to the windscreens of B- and C-segment vehicles and most SUVs. The cover covers the windscreen together with part of the bonnet, which stops the wipers and the lower edge of the windscreen from freezing.

Use and maintenance
Fitting
Spread the cover over the windscreen, aligning it with the edges. The magnets will automatically hold the cover to the metal parts of the bonnet. Trap the side flaps in the doors on the driver and passenger sides. Check that the cover sits evenly and has no folds that could trap moisture.
Removal and storage
Remove snow or ice from the surface of the cover before taking it off. Take the cover off gently, without tugging at the magnets. Once removed, wipe the cover dry and store it in a well-ventilated place. Do not fold it away wet, as this can lead to mould.
Checking compatibility
Measure the width and height of the vehicle's windscreen. The cover should cover the whole windscreen with an allowance for the bonnet. Check that the bonnet is made of a ferromagnetic material (the magnets hold). On vehicles with aluminium or composite bonnets the magnets may not work – in that case consider securing the cover with the side flaps only.
