How to choose the right bit
Before you start work, identify the type and size of the screw recess. The bit should enter the recess without any play — an undersized bit will slip and destroy the fastener head. The Phillips and Pozidriv profiles look similar, but they are not fully interchangeable — Pozidriv has additional notches that reduce the tendency of the bit to slip out.
