A 150 mm polishing pad designed for use with polishing machines fitted with a backing plate of the same diameter. Made from polyurethane foam with a density of 26 kg/m³, it is used for polishing painted surfaces with polishing compounds.

Compatibility with the polishing machine

Use and maintenance
Before first use, dampen the pad with water and squeeze it out — this prevents the dry foam from absorbing an excessive amount of polishing compound. Apply the compound directly onto the pad or onto the surface being polished at several points, then spread it at low speed before polishing properly.
After use, wash the pad in warm water with a mild detergent, removing any compound residue. Store the pad in a dry place, away from direct sunlight. Cleaning the pad regularly during use (for example with a pad cleaning brush) prevents the foam pores from clogging and maintains polishing efficiency.
