YATO YT-06777 Socket Grub Screw Set - 160 Pieces
A complete 160-piece socket grub screw set in a compartmented organiser case. It contains screws in the 8 most common sizes from M3 to M10, designed for fixing components in threaded holes with no protruding parts.
Features of Socket Grub Screws
Headless design
Grub screws have no protruding head. They sit completely within the threaded hole, which allows flush mounting with the surface. The conical end ensures a secure seat and the ability to transmit axial forces.
Hex socket drive
The hexagonal recess (hex socket) in the face of the screw allows it to be tightened with a hex key. This provides greater tightening torque than slotted screws and eliminates the risk of the tool slipping when assembling in hard-to-reach places.
Organiser case
The set is supplied in an organiser box with compartments. Each screw size is kept in a separate compartment marked with its dimensions, which removes the need for measuring and speeds up selection of the right component while working.

How to choose the right grub screw size
The screw diameter should match the diameter of the threaded hole (M3, M4, M5, etc.). The length is chosen so that the screw engages at least 1.5 times the thread diameter into the material. For connections carrying higher loads, a length of 2-3 times the diameter is recommended. Check the hex key size required for the given screw size before starting assembly.
Use and maintenance
Before assembly, make sure the threaded hole is clean and free from contamination. Grub screws are tightened to the correct torque - too much force can damage the thread, too little will not provide a secure fixing. When installing in soft materials (aluminium, plastics), careful tightening with torque control is recommended.
The screws can be assembled and disassembled repeatedly, but after several uses it is worth checking the condition of the thread. Damaged or worn screws should be replaced. Storing them in the original organiser case protects the components from moisture and prevents the sizes from becoming mixed up.
