A professional set of specialist tools for removing injectors from petrol and diesel engines. It includes adaptors and pullers compatible with common rail injection systems as well as earlier generations of injectors.
Features of the injector puller set
Slide hammer removal method
Slide hammer pullers use the striking force of a slide hammer, which is transmitted through the shaft to the injector. This method allows the injector to be released from its seat in a controlled way without damaging the body, nozzles or fuel lines. It is particularly effective with coked-up injectors or those fitted in aluminium cylinder heads.
Compatibility with four injection systems
The set includes adaptors for BOSCH common rail injectors (CDI, TDI), DELPHI (DDiS, CRDi), DENSO (D-4D, DiD) and SIEMENS/Continental (VDO). It covers both piezoelectric and solenoid injectors used in 1.2-3.0 litre engines, the most common on the European and Asian markets.
Complete set for professional use
The 22 pieces include a slide hammer, shafts of various lengths, threaded adaptors M8-M14, spacer sleeves and fitting spanners. This configuration makes it possible to remove injectors from engines of various designs, including in hard-to-reach locations (e.g. V6 and V8 engines).

How to use the slide hammer pullers
Preparation before removal
Before starting work, disconnect the electrical connectors and fuel pipes from the injectors. On diesel engines it is advisable to run the engine for a few seconds in order to depressurise the common rail system. Then clean the area around the injector of dirt so that it cannot enter the combustion chamber.
Selecting the correct adaptor
Select the adaptor according to the injector type and its mounting thread. BOSCH injectors most often use an M8 or M10 thread, DELPHI and DENSO - M12 or M14. Screw the adaptor into the injector thread by hand until it bottoms out, then tighten it with a spanner from the set. Excessive tightening force can damage the injector thread.
Removal procedure
Once the adaptor is fitted, place the slide hammer on the shaft and make a series of controlled strikes, sliding the hammer weight upwards and letting it drop freely. The impact force is transferred to the injector, gradually releasing it from its seat. 5-15 strikes are usually enough. Do not use any additional impact tools.
Set maintenance
After each use, clean the adaptor threads of fuel and carbon deposits with a wire brush. It is worth protecting the steel components with a thin layer of oil or anti-corrosion agent. Storing the tools in the original case protects them from moisture and mechanical damage.
