30-Piece Torx Bit and Socket Set KD10242
KD10242 is a complete Torx tool set, comprising 1/4" drive bits and E (external) and T (internal) sockets on 3/8" and 1/2" drives. The set covers a wide size range — from T8 and E4 up to T55 and E20 — so it handles everything from small electronic fasteners to heavy-duty mechanical joints.
Set features
Three drive sizes in one set
A 1/4" drive is used for precision work and low tightening torques. The 3/8" drive is the universal workshop standard. The 1/2" drive handles joints that require high torque — chassis or engine components, for example. Having all three drives means there is no need to buy separate sets.
E-Torx sockets (external Torx)
E-series sockets (E4–E20) are used on screws and bolts with an external Torx profile — common in vehicle suspension, braking systems and bodywork components. These are tools that standard sets tend to lack, and their inclusion significantly widens what the set can do.
Torx bit sockets on 3/8" and 1/2" drives
Bit sockets with a built-in Torx bit (T10–T55) let you work with a torque wrench or ratchet without an adaptor. The length of the bit set into the socket gives better access to screws located in recesses.
1/4" bits with a 3/8" adaptor
Seven Torx bits (T8–T30) on a 1/4" drive plus the supplied 1/4"–3/8" adaptor allow the bits to be used with 3/8" drive ratchets. This solution makes the set more flexible without the need to own two separate ratchets.

How to choose the right Torx size
The internal Torx profile (T) fits screws with a star-shaped recess — the size is selected on the basis of the diameter of the recess. The external Torx profile (E) fits screw heads with an external star profile — most commonly found in vehicle suspension. Before buying, it is worth checking the marking on the screw or measuring the recess with callipers.
Storage and organisation
All components of the set fit in the supplied case with moulded recesses. A fixed place for every tool makes it quick to check that the set is complete once a job is finished and prevents individual pieces from going missing.
