Petrol Generator KD695 — 3.2 kW / 3.5 kW, 230V, Single Phase
The KD695 is a single-phase generator in an open frame design, intended for powering electrical equipment where there is no access to the mains supply. The 15-litre fuel tank and air-cooled engine allow many hours of continuous running without technical breaks.
Technical features
Open frame design
The open steel frame reduces the overall weight of the generator compared with enclosed models of similar output. Weighing around 52 kg and fitted with a transport handle, the unit can be moved by two people without additional equipment. Rubber stabilisers beneath the frame damp vibration during operation and protect the ground surface.
15 L fuel tank and air cooling
The large fuel tank extends running time between refuelling. Air cooling removes the need for a water circuit, which simplifies the design and reduces the number of parts requiring maintenance. The engine's T.C.I. (transistorised) ignition delivers consistent operating parameters across a wide range of ambient temperatures.
Voltmeter and 12V DC output
The built-in voltmeter lets you monitor the output voltage continuously without the need for external meters. The additional 12V DC output allows car or motorcycle batteries to be charged directly from the generator — useful during service work or out in the field.
Manual recoil start
Manual (recoil) starting does not require a charged starter battery, which removes one of the usual failure points in electric generators. T.C.I. ignition provides precise spark control, which translates into reliable starting even after the unit has been out of use for a long period.

How do I match generator output to the appliances connected?
The rated power of 3.2 kW defines the load at which the generator can run continuously. The peak power of 3.5 kW is available for a short time only and is required to start electric motors (such as those in pumps and compressors), which draw 2–3 times their rated current on start-up. Before connecting appliances, add up their power consumption and make sure the total does not exceed 3.2 kW. For appliances with an electric motor, it is worth taking account of the starting factor stated by the equipment manufacturer.
